The first layer of ice is ready on the newly installed rink at Heinz Field today. Workers will continue to add to the ice thickness before applying the white base and subsequent colors for the marking the faceoff circles, goal lines and neutral zone lines.

Check out Heinz field with the hockey rink right in the middle. Don't forget about the Winter Classic this Saturday at 1:00 PM! Let's just hope the weather doesn't cause too many problems.
